Kip McGrath Galashiels Tuition Centre
The Galashiels Kip McGrath Education Centre is run by Morwenna Montgomery, an experienced Support for Learning teacher with 16 years teaching experience. The centre provides additional tuition in English and Maths to students aged 5 - 18 including National 4/5 and Higher Grade exam preparation delivered by experienced teachers at the appropriate level. The Galashiels centre serves Galashiels, Melrose, Tweedbank, Clovenfords, Selkirk and the surrounding areas.
We only employ qualified and motivational teachers to tutor Primary and Secondary students who along with our exclusive state of the art teaching resources, ensure children learn in a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment.
If you have any concerns about how your child is progressing at school, whether that is a lack of confidence, difficulty with homework, or National 4/5 Higher exams, please contact Morwenna in confidence on 01896 668421 or fill in our online assessment form below. Together we can help your child build a brighter future!
Your child will be invited to attend a free assessment which is without obligation. The assessment enables us to identify the areas of strength and weakness and highlight any gaps in learning your child may have. The results will be discussed with you in detail so you are fully informed of what the centre can offer to support your child. This is also an opportunity for you and your child to visit the centre and see how the tutoring sessions are run and the resources used.
Unique Learning Plans
All students attend the centre each week for an 80 minute lesson per subject. Each lesson is fun, engaging, varied and includes individual tuition by an appropriately qualified teacher, and a combination of tried and tested written and computer activities in a small group learning environment.
Every student follows their own individualised learning programme based on your child's specific learning needs and style. The aim is for each child to be engaged in their learning, make progress, and improve their own confidence and self-esteem. As a parent you will be be kept informed with ongoing progress reports and regular tutor feedback.
